Fair Comments and Foul Opinions

Quality thinking involves making clear distinctions between fact and belief.

If you believe you live an authentic life, what are the facts in relation to that belief?

How do you distinguish between quality reasoning and dubious opinions?

When do you know a taboo is unjustified and possibly even dangerous?

If you are participating in the enlightened re-enchantment of the world, perhaps you regard the associated process as sacred in some way.

You may also associate the processes with political legitimacy and/or popular sovereignty.

Perhaps you have reverence for enlightenment in all its forms, including the intellectual and perceptual forms and the spiritual forms.

The carefully documented series in this grimoire, about the enlightened re-enchantment of the world, will probably require your regular perusal over the next few years, directly and indirectly:

How carefully do you distinguish between matter and imaginings?

How carefully do you distinguish between mysteries and histories

What do you know about quality investments as enchantments, and how have you acquired that knowledge?

How do you distinguish between a fair comment and a foul opinion?

Perhaps you regard the Spirit of Enlightenment as a totem of the second Age of Enlightenment, if not the first Age of Enlightenment.

Perhaps you are in awe of the Spirit of Enlightenment.

All relatively enlightened persons have that experience in relation to the numinous and luminous and ineffable and hospitable expressions of the great lady.

Which aspects of experience do you regard as ineffable, and why?

Perhaps you do not regard the numen of Twaklin as divine.

How are you attempting to solve problems, and why, and for whose benefit?

Perhaps you are an enthusiast for knowledge, for the accumulation of experiences and for the acquisition of admiration.  If so, how do you know you are not being excessively selfish?

No selfishness can reasonably be regarded as respectable.

Perhaps you do not regard reasonableness as sacred.

If you consider your life to be overly complicated at present, what has caused that problem to arise, and why?

If you consider your life to be excessively uncomfortable at present, what are you attempting to do to make yourself more comfortable, and why?

What is an affordable life, from your point of view?

Regardless of your age or location, what is your current public profile, and why?

How are you using that profile towards a better understanding of the world?

How are you using that profile towards improving understanding in the world?

What is a public profile, in your view?

Perhaps you have a local public profile rather than a more widespread one.

Who has access to sensitive information about you, and why?

Who intrudes into your privacy, and why?

Who compromises your security, and why?

Persons of true quality appropriately respect privacy at all times.

How consistently do you make the time to identify, acknowledge and understand needs?

Perhaps you rarely make sufficient time in your schedule to help you overcome your ignorance, even of your own talents.

Research is mainly about identifying existing knowledge.

Studying is about attempting to comprehend that knowledge.

When, though, do you believe you must seek out new knowledge no-one else has discovered?

How do you attempt to discover facts about yourself?

Perhaps your ancestors had no connection with the High Renaissance or the development and decline of Mannerism, as far as you are aware.

How do you try to obtain objective information from previous centuries?

How do you ascertain the facts of subjective experiences, whether you have personally experienced that subjectivity or not?

What have you discovered about objectively powerful ways to support good in the world

Are you capable of exhibiting clarity in your comments here?

Well-informed persons have serious concerns about resource consumption and waste and abuse and poverty and pollution and environmental degradation and the unjust political power of excessive wealthy persons and assorted bullies.

What do you believe you already know about well-informed kindness and well-informed investing?

Many young people have a propensity to believe that their own experiences of newness equate with advances in knowledge and sophistication.  Such people are usually unaware that they have been duped into following a commercial agenda not of their own making.

Many older people have also been duped into following commercial agendas, primarily through advertising.

Do you usually consider differing beliefs to be the essence of cultural difference?

If you seek to experience a premium product or high quality experience at a budget price, why do you believe you deserve to do so, and who should pay the difference?

Sometimes, impulsive people think they are kind.  They may even believe themselves to be well-informed.

Yet impulsive behaviours cause many problems in the world, including much wastefulness.

Impulsive people fail to appreciate the time required for courteous introductions and other transitions.  They are impatient and often rude.  They do not know how to use their time well, or their minds well.

If you are not particularly popular, what do you know about the reasons for that being the case?

How do you usually try to gain useful knowledge, skills and experience?

What have you been learning about sacred mysteries, and how?

Fair is foul and foul is fair in the minds of corrupt persons.

But how do you tell whether a person, or system, is corrupt or otherwise?

Defining corruption is a very important task for any real leader.

Communicating that definition clearly is equally important.

Of most importance, however, is the elimination of corruption by the fairest means possible.

How have you already assessed such possibilities in relation to fairness?

Many foul opinions imply violent intentions, even when the sources claim otherwise.
