The Enlightened Re-enchantment of the World - Part Five

How is it possible to re-enchant the world when extreme weather events occur?

How is it possible to prevent extremes of any sort?

Real witches, the wonderful ones, are certainly not extremists.

They are not aggressive or dangerous in any way whatsoever.

They devote their time and energy towards preventing all sorts of abusive practices and inappropriate opinions.

They uphold the truth.  

They respect reasonable differences of opinion.  

They do their best to contribute to the development and implementation of proper policies, through the informal provision of education, training, supervision and other forms of peaceful guidance.

They do their best to prevent both aggressive order and hideous chaos.

They know that punishments should never by capital or corporal or psychological or otherwise unjust.

Indeed, real witches regard punishment itself as cruel and stupid.  Only guidance towards goodness is justified.

But how should cruelty be deterred?

How should stupidity be overcome?

And how should real witches respond to the perpetration of acts of cruelty, especially those practiced by the powerful?

Some people have the power to act alone for good or ill, whether in a domestic or local way or on a larger scale.  Most people only have power when they act collectively.

Yet effective, suitably responsible collective action requires appropriate education, training, supervision and other forms of peaceful guidance.

If you are enlightened, you will know the difference between real energy and real synergy.  You will also be able to distinguish between real energy, real synergy and silly ideas relating to energies and synergies.

Wars are always evidence of political stupidity.

Perhaps you continue to have a divisive point of view regarding real witches rather than a decisive acquaintance with world peace.

Perhaps you are selfishly excited by military history more generally, and even by aggressive games, dangerous sports and other inappropriate behaviours.

Perhaps you have mental health problems preventing you from making appropriately peaceful decisions.

Are you sure you have reached the quinary level of training here?

Most trainees are yet to succeed at the quaternary level, or even at the lower levels.

Perhaps you do not regard yourself as a trainee in the art of real witchcraft and the science of real statecraft.

Of course, a real witch practices both crafts, and many others, though she, and she is usually a she rather than a he or they or it or Other, is never called a state, regardless of her mental state and the condition of her hair, skin, attire, financial status, womb, ovaries, chromosomes and parental status.

Regardless of your sex and gender and status in relation to witchcraft and statecraft and the craft of appropriate journalism, please ensure you are adequately familiar with numeral systems in relation to positional notation before continuing.

You may also wish to acquaint yourself with musical systems in relation to positional notation too, especially in relation to the harmony of the spheres, even if you happen to be deaf or tone deaf.

Enlightened tonalities are particularly important to real witches, both musically and politically.

Perhaps you are unfamiliar with the tonalities associated with arithmetical and geometrical necessities.

Perhaps you are unaware that the observable universe consists mainly of vibrations.

While arithmetic is associated with measurable quantities, geometry is associated with measurable space.

How do you usually assess languages in relation to meaning?

How do you usually assess numbers in relation to meaning?

How do you usually assess images in relation to meaning?

How do you usually assess tone in relation to meaning?

What is your acquaintance with counting in various contexts, including musical ones and political ones?

What is you acquaintance with psychophysics, particularly psychoacoustics?

What is your acquaintance with psychochemistry, particularly in relation to olfactory perceptions, gustatory perceptions and non-perceptible elements and molecules? 

The non-perceptible, in physics and chemistry, does not necessarily mean an unperceived vibration or unperceived atom does not exist, of course.

Tools and techniques to make the imperceptible perceptible are often especially necessary when illness arises.  The knowledge acquired can then be used to prevent illnesses from arising in the future. 

The same is obviously true of biology, particularly microbiology.

While the senses are warning systems, and pleasure systems, they cannot perceive every danger.  They may not even perceive every pleasure.

And all humans have imperfect sensory systems in many ways.  Most suffer from impairments of one sort or another, even if they lack awareness of those impairments.

How do you attempt to gain greater awareness of your abilities and the various impairments you may experience, whether sensory or otherwise?

How do you usually assess reliability?

How do you usually respond to musical atonality and microtonality?

How do you usually respond to clashes of values?

How do you usually respond to incompatible responses to problems?

Perhaps you would rather reflect upon the causes and consequences of the Battle of Marathon of 490 BC.

Perhaps you would rather reflect upon the life and work of Pythagoras of Samos (c. 570 – c. 495 BC).

Perhaps you are one of his semi-attentive students.

What do you know about human temperaments

What do you know about temperaments within other species?

What do you know about musical temperament?

What do you know about tonal memory

How do you assess analogies?

What do you know about your diffuse chemosensory system?

How do you attempt to protect yourself, other people, other species and the Earth from harmful endogeny and harmful exogeny?

Are you sure you have reached the quinary level here?

The enlightened re-enchantment of the world involves a suitably structured understanding of everything in relation to appropriately described contextual positions.

Where are you now, and why?

Perhaps you would rather think about naguals and/or apsaras.

Perhaps you would rather think about chaotic times in Chinese history.

Perhaps you would rather think about chaotic consequences of inappropriate seduction.

Perhaps you would rather think about the fate of Henry Hudson.

Perhaps you would rather think about algebra and calculus.

Perhaps you would especially like to think about the differential geometry of musical isomorphisms and control theory.

It is very important to know your own preferences, even if you do not (yet) know why you possess them.

What are you preferred interests, your preferred beliefs and your preferred tastes and values?

What do you know about their causes and consequences?

Perhaps you are interested in the history of marathons and/or massacres.

Perhaps you are interested in the history and future of dynamic systems

What is your acquaintance with homeostasis, ecology and innocence?

Perhaps you are especially interested in the life and career of Isaac Newton (1642-1726/27).

Perhaps you are especially interested in glittering generalities and the Barnum effect.

Perhaps you are especially interested in the psychology of torture and other forms of deliberate harm, possibly in order to prevent future harm from being perpetrated.

Perhaps you are seeking to learn the truth about the Illuminati.

Perhaps you are seeking to understand the role of JS Bach in the preparation of tuning.

You may also be seeking to learn more about quaternary and quinary training opportunities, with the assistance of Calliope and her colleagues.  If so, you must decide on the subjects of most interest to you and accurately understand why those subjects are of most interest to you.
