Rich Witches
How do you tell whether you are rich or not?
How do you tell whether you are a witch or not?
How do you usually compare a haven and a coven?
Even though there is much corruption in political organisations, religious organisations, government organisations, business organisations, and even non-religious charities, attempting to be non-corrupt is a devotional practice in itself.
Excessive wealth corrupts.Perhaps you have spent much time transferring yourself and/or your assets between offshore havens over the past few years.
Perhaps you work for an organisation or person associated with the unjust accumulation of wealth.Perhaps you are unaware of what is justifiable and what is not.
There is much wishful thinking involved in pseudo-witchful practices. There is often a focus on the imaginative and the aesthetic and the consumerist and the ritualistic rather than the ethical.
That not only applies to wealthy witch-like inidividuals but also to persons seeking to become wealthy through witch-themed products and/or services and/or complaints.
Perhaps you believe you gain empowerment through crystals, incense, candles, card readings, moon phases and herbal teas, rather than through your ability to make purchases.
How do you define a spiritual practice? How do you distinguish between such practices and commercial activities?
How do you distinguish between spiritual practices and the healing arts?
How do you distinguish between the spiritual and the political?
Perhaps you even associate spirituality with escapism.
Perhaps you associate wealth and music with escapism.
Perhaps you think witchcraft is much like any other subculture or hobby or business or expression of self-identity.
Yet each practice is embedded in cultural contexts, including economic and political ones. There are people who believe witches place curses on them. Such people may even pay money to someone to have the curse removed.

To have choices is to have power. But having too many choices can be stressful.
What have been your experiences of biological stress? What have been your experiences of psychological stress?
What have been your experiences of financial stress?
Perhaps you attempt to cope with stress by being a spendthrift.
If you are from a relatively wealthy background, or you have acquired wealth relatively easily, and possibly even illegally, do you regard yourself as a witch?

They are mainly doing so in order to make money from them and/or to exploit them sexually and/or in other ways. The unjustly powerful know how to make the non-rich into military, policing and/or security personnel and/or criminals.

But what does having political power mean in practice?
If you are a rich witch, you are likely to have economic power and political power.
If you are newly rich, you may enjoy the novelty of economic grandiosity, but do you understand the causes of secondary poverty?

Perhaps you would rather light candles and incense and chant a soothing slogan over a collection of crystals or other objects rather than actively work for good in the world.
Perhaps you would rather focus on enjoying life instead of actively contributing to the reform processes necessary if less fortunate persons are to be able to do the same.
What are the most urgent reforms required, in your view, and how are they likely to occur?
